owned by Hotpuppy® Inc., a Texas corporation. In order to use this stie
you must agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree to our terms
of use you should close your browser window.
- Authorized Usage: You are authorized to use this site for conducting
business transactions with Hotpuppy® Inc. You may use this site and
it's software to place orders with Hotpuppy® Inc. You may also review
previous orders, view our product catalog for the purpose of making
a purchase, and in order to contact us. All other purposes are unauthorized
and prohibited under U.S. Federal Law and applicable Texas Law.
- Nexus: Nexus is the legal definition of where a business transaction
occurs. Nexus for Hotpuppy® Inc. is Houston, Harris County, Texas.
- Copyright: Hotpuppy® Inc. reserves all rights, trademarks, and copyright.
Reproduction of any form including print, electronic, or broadcast
is explicitly forbidden without written permission.
- Copyright Notices: If you believe that Hotpuppy® Inc. has infringed
on your copyright, trademark, or other protected property you must
immediately notify us of such violation. Notice can be mailed to Hotpuppy®
Inc, Attn: DMCA, 1333 Laird St, Houston, Tx 77008. You may also fax
us at 713-861-6261. Notices must contain the page alleged to contain
the violation, the name, address, fax and phone number of the property
owner, action requested, and date violation was observed. We take all
such notices very seriously and the information requested is necessary
to redress any such issue.
- Submissions: You agree that any submission becomes the property of
Hotpuppy® Inc . This includes emails, letters, faxes, and photographs.
You agree that Hotpuppy® Inc. will incur no obligation whatsoever by
accepting any submission. Specifically photos and t-shirt suggestions
while appreciated will not obligate Hotpuppy® Inc. to any liability
or acknolwedgement of credit.
- User Photos: In keeping with item 5 covering submissions if you send
us a photo of you in one of our T-shirts you explicitly agree that
we have all right and title to said photo. You understand that we
may, at our option, publish or not publish any photo in any media we
choose including print, broadcast, and electronic.
- Tax: All transactions billed or shipped to Texas
are taxable unless a valid resale or use certificate is received and
accepted by Hotpuppy® Inc.
- Accuracy: While every effort is made to ensure that
our information is accurate, no warranty or guarantee of accuracy is
made. In the event that a system error occurs we reserve the right
to cancel the transaction.
- Law Enforcement: Nothing on our site is intended
to violate any statute or law. If you believe something to be in violation
we request that you contact us so that we may correct such violation.
No pornography should be on our systems. In the event that you are
conducting an investigation we ask that you contact us prior to using
our system. Your access is unauthorized unless we grant you access
to our systems. We run sophisticated anti-hacking and monitoring software
and may disable your access if we mistakenly identify you as a hacker.
- Fraud, Theft, and Slime: Notice is hereby provided
that we will prosecute fraud, theft, or attempts thereof, including
harassment of our users and systems to the fullest extent applicable
by Law. We run sophisticated monitoring systems that capture the necessary
information to result in a conviction. We work closely with the U.S.
Federal Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crimes division to stamp out
online theft and fraud.
Privacy Policy
- We value our clients privacy and we believe that information you give
to us should not be shared.
- We will not release, share, or sell your information to any 3rd party.
- We may refer to data about your transaction or you as an individual
when working with affiliated companies. However, we will not release
your name, contact information (phone/email/address) or any other personally
identifyable info. When we do refer to such data it will be for the purpose
of helping retailers determine which items are popular in an area. For
example: If Nifty-mart wants to carry Hotpuppy® we might help them determine
what types of shirts were sold in their city. We would not however tell
them who sold the shirts.
- The only case in which we will release your information is when we
are served with a court order to do so.
- We take active steps to restrict information to employees who have
a need to access such information.
- Employees are well trained in handling customer information and we
actively engage employees in privacy and security training.
- Our computer systems are audited on a regular basis by an outside unaffiliated
firm to ensure that they remain secure.
- Our computer systems are hosted in secured, controlled-access locations
with access limited to persons whose job requires physical
access to the systems.
- We employ industry certified professsional information technology
specialists who work to improve our systems and ensure that they remain
secure.
